Now is the perfect time to kick off a brand new challenge to help you get on your way to your healthiest, fittest self yet: 30 Days of Fit Food. It's a great way to kick the season and head into the holidays (just around the corner!) feeling your best.

What can I expect from the Fit Food challenge?
  • Meal Plans + Shopping Lists
Every week, you'll receive a week's worth of healthy, nutritious meal plans to help you reach your goals: breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks—no guesswork about what to eat! Our meal plans also include easy shopping lists so you can get in, get what you need and get out of the store. We call it "fit" food because it is designed to make you feel your best: no calorie counting necessary. We've even offered built-in alternatives in case you want a different option on a particular day.
  • 30 Daily "Mini Challenges"
Each day, you'll get a "mini-challenge" to complete to help you stay on track with your healthy meal plan and overall goals. These will help you stay accountable to your program for the whole month, reminding you of what to do, offering great tips, and keeping your goals top of mind.
  • 150 SparkPoints
Yep, you read that right! You can earn 5 SparkPoints for each daily challenge you complete. Just visit the challenge page and click the "Earn Your SparkPoints" button to tell us that you completed that day. It's just that easy!
  • Social Support
We will be using the hashtag #FitFood on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest throughout the challenge. Ask questions. Post about your progress. Tell us how the day's challenge went. Encourage your friends to join you! When you use the #FitFood hashtag, we'll be right there to support you and cheer you on! We also encourage you to use it on your own social media pages to connect with others who are completing the challenge. This is a good start. I was just racking my brains for a meal plan to start my journey as I have deemed October "National Love Myself Month" in which I vow to love myself enough to eat better and become more active. Hopefully weight loss will come with it. - 9/26/2013   11:35:38 AM

I wish more suggested meal plans would reuse ingredients, repeat meals (like have leftovers from dinner for lunch the next day), or make larger batch recipes that could even be eaten multiple times during the week. I am always disappointed as I don't want to buy 100 different ingredients every week, nor is it realistic for me to cook 3 different meals everyday for 7 days a week. Do people really have enough time and budget to follow these? (If so, I'm envious!) I know I could modify the plan to make it work for me - but I would like once, just once, for it just to be that way already and all I have to do is follow it! - 9/26/2013   10:53:51 AM

Thank you MommaKat! That worked! - 9/26/2013   10:26:10 AM

Sadly while this seems awesome with all the carbs in the breakfast and lunch it doesn't fit my eating plan. Thanks for the effort. - 9/26/2013   10:23:43 AM

I don't want to remove Adblock - is this something that can be revised? - 9/26/2013   10:10:48 AM

If you have AdBlock on your browser, you will need to disable it to see and sign up for the challenge! - 9/26/2013   9:51:49 AM

This is perfect! I'm asking my husband to do it with me!
Of course, it would be better if the page would load so I could sign up. :) - 9/26/2013   9:40:00 AM

I'm cherry-picking from the food plans because they don't recycle ingredients quite enough (although meats, raspberries, whole grain toast and bacon seem to be common ingredients). I picked the recipes that I can already do and I'll use that as a starting point. Thanks, Sparkpeople! - 9/26/2013   9:37:43 AM

I'm with the rest of the ones that have left a comment. The page won't load. All I get is the nice picture at the top. No place to sign up, no place to see the plan, NOTHING!! - 9/26/2013   7:23:45 AM

I am interested but I don't see any "veggie" dinner meals and so far only one for lunch. Please, make it easy for us vegetarians so that we don't have to "think" out meals! - 9/26/2013   7:19:08 AM

I'd love to get a preview of the meal plans before signing up to see if it is viable for me to take part ..... or are they available, but I just haven't found them?? Ok I kept looking and found everything I was looking for - looks like an awesome challenge and I'd love to join - just not straight away as I have so much food in my fridge/freezer/pantry and looking at the shopping list for the 4 weeks, I'd need to buy a whole lot more. I'm not in a place where I'm prepared to do that at the moment, but will save this for a few months down the track - would love to try this challenge FOR SURE! - 9/26/2013   4:20:26 AM
