There's so much on my ipod! Where does one begin? I guess with my favorite...the Foo Fighters, then it goes downhill from there. Metallica (both old and new), Pantera, G N' R, A7X, Linkin Park, Rolling Stones, AC/DC (of course!), RHCP, the list goes on...basically anything rock. Country (but only old country, when it was still good and doesn't border on pop like it does now) is for when I'm relaxing and having a beer with the hubby! Report
I like songs with attitude to keep me going through a hard workout, like:
-Joan Jett (any song works)
-"Dancefloor Anthem" by Good Charlotte
-"Let it Rock" by Kevin Rudolf
-"Cheater, Cheater" by Joey and Rory, etc.

I usually love old music ( The Beatles is my favorite band ) but when I work out I need heavy drums and I end up listening to heavy metal/rock. Disturbed really gets me going so I have lots of their music "Down with the Sickness" , "Into the Fire", and "10,000 Fists" to keep me moving. Report

Right now? My MP3 player has the latest episode of Radiolab. That radio show is mind-blowing! Report
My music doesn't need to "pump me up" so much as it just has to be loud enough to hear over the machines and TVs at the gym, and it has to be music that I really enjoy listening to (rather than just okay background music type stuff). So recently I added a bunch of albums to my mp3 player, let's see if I can remember what artists I put on there.

Blind Guardian, Nightwish, Voltaire, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Sweeney Todd, Ministry of Magic, Dragonforce, The Parselmouths, Dream Theater . . .

Hmm, I'm sure I put more on but that's all I can remember. Of course I usually can't get through an entire album for one workout, let alone the whole playlist. But that's not a problem. I only use my mp3 player for working out, so when I get home, I delete the songs I listened to that time, so that next time I'm listening to what's next rather than the same stuff again. Report
