  • How do I unsubscribe from Team emails or remove myself from a Team?
When you join a SparkTeam, you can choose to receive email notifications when a new member joins that Team and/or when a new topic is posted in that Team. These notifications are optional, but some members find the notifications helpful, especially when a new topic is posted. Using these notifications can make it easier for you so you do not have to search for new topics and/or new members on that Team. On larger Teams though, you may receive a lot more notifications than on smaller Teams, and you may choose to turn the notifications off so you don’t receive so many emails. You can change your preferences for these notifications at any time.

Also, sometimes members may find that a particular Team is not the best fit for them and they would like to leave the Team.

To unsubscribe from Team emails/notifications:
  1. Roll your mouse over the “Community” tab near the top of the screen.
  2. Click on “SparkTeams."
  3. You’ll now see your SparkTeams page.
  4. Click on “Manage My Team Emails/Settings,” which is to the right of the heading, “My SparkTeams.”
  5. You’ll now see your SparkTeam preferences page.
  6. Each of your Teams will have boxes listed next to them where you can change your Team preferences.
  7. Uncheck the box(es) for “New Member Notification,” "New Wall Post Notification," and/or “New Topic Notification.”
  8. Once unchecked, you will be unsubscribed from those notifications.
To remove yourself from a Team:
  1. Roll your mouse over the “Community” tab near the top of the screen.
  2. Click on “SparkTeams."
  3. You’ll now see your SparkTeams page.
  4. Click on the Team you would like to leave.
  5. Scroll to the bottom left side of your Team page and click on “Leave This Team."
  6. Once confirmed, you'll be removed from the Team.
