This is a great idea! I'm in! I definitely need a goal! My starting weight today is 250.75:( My goal is 240.75 by March 15:)

Great idea IvoryGirl - pls. count me in. I'm all for the 'being kind to myself' route - and 1lb/week definitely sounds manageable! I'm starting today at 149lb. My goal is 139lb by March 15. Time to get started!
This is my first week being back at the gym in months and today I managed to pull of 45 minutes on the elliptical...a decent feat for me because I really don't like cardio :p. My first official weigh in will be either Monday or Tuesday. I'm not sure how much the scale will budge because I have been strength training and drinking a lot more water than I used to...but I guess you never know!

I'm in! That's about how fast/slow I lose anyway, so I think this is a goal I can achieve.

I'm done with setting up unrealistic goals for myself. I'd rather lose 8 lbs. in 2 months than go overboard with expectations of an elaborate exercise routine or # of pounds to lose and wind up losing little to none.
