I can't believe it. I am stilling feeling so euphoric for meeting this goal. I don't think I've ever actually met a weight loss goal in my life. I'm very excited and look forward to continuing on and reading and posting in your new thread, Blueskies. Congrats to everyone on all their hard work. Im pushing strong for the final week here :) I will be starting a new challenge to take us through to sept 1 after this challenge ends. I am planning on naming it the " You pick Sept. 1st weight loss challenge" The reason for the name is that I want people to be able to pick how much the want to loose in that 3 month period. Because I know everyone weight loss goals are different. I no longer need to loose 25lbs :) but I know some may so I am leaving the number up to them :) feel free to join me this week when I start it. I will probably start it Friday.

Thanks Blueskies emoticon It would be cool but I would have to lose 2 pounds in each of the next two weeks and I have never lost that fast. But even getting within 2 pounds of my goal would make me very happy. At this point I have 24 pounds to lose to reach my goal and over half a year to do it.

I lost another 2 pounds! I am up to 21 lost and 4 to go. I still don't think I will make it but adding the bootcamp and adding the run/jog training to my program has really goosed it. I have walked/jogged 15K so far this week and am planning to do another 5K tomorrow for my training.

SO I lost another lb :) yayayayayayay lol. We have two more weeks!!!! I am hoping if I bust my butt I can loose more then a lb a week in the next two weeks. If I loose a lb a week I will be at a lose of 11.5 lbs. Not the 25 but 11.5 is awesome!!!!

KRYS that is awesome congrats on hitting the 20 lb mark!!!!! That is awesome that you have been able to keep this weight off. I am doing pretty good so far this week. I did gain over the weekend but it was only a little so I am hopeful that I will still net a loss for this week. I am hoping to at least hit 148 but it would be nice to hit 147 lol. Either way I am still working hard and I know that!!!

Congrats Blueskies! I didn't realize you were getting married! Great job this week for everyone so far! I can't believe I have hit the 20lb mark for this challenge. I never thought I would see 175 pounds again. I haven't seen this weight in 10 years. Been a long haul - I started at 255 in 2006 and have gone up and down so many times, but this is the first year I have lost and kept off any significant amount of weight. I think I have really made some lifestyle changes. I never want to go back :)

I was happy yesterday (still am but forgot to post this yesterday) when I lost 2 more pounds emoticon I have 6 to go to make the challenge. I don't expect to make it but I hope to be close. I am now down 91 pounds from my high weight in 2009!!!!!! emoticon

I am finally int he 140's!!!!!! WAHOOOOOOOO!!!!! Still not claiming victory yet. I am waiting til I am a few pounds in to say for sure I am past my plateau!!!! Hopefully next week I will be around 147 and then I think it would be safe to say I passed that UGLY 2.5 month plateau!!!

FELICIAAO If being part of this group motivates you by all means join us. However the group started in January with a goal of about 5 pounds per month. Some people seem to lose huge amounts per month but I know I am not one of them. A large loss for me is 7-8 pounds. I average 1 lb per week.

BLUESKIES emoticon on losing the weight! You are doing great!

As for me I lost my weekly pound, I am down 17 of my 25. I have jacked up my exercise so that I can hopefully get to 21 or 22 pounds lost by June 1. I have 1 pound to go to reach a total of 90 pounds gone.

So I am down a solid 2 lbs this week!!! I am not claiming success on breaking my plateau yet but I am a big step in the RIGHT direction towards it. This would bring my weight loss for this challenge to 7.5 lbs! Which is awesome!!! Hoping I keep getting results how awesome would it be to out of 150 ville!!!!

I agree, BLUESKIES - I too would consider my challenge a great success to lose 20lbs in total by June 1st. And if you know how hard you've worked and pushed yourself, you need to pat yourself on the back even if the scales doesn't reflect your hard work :)

Missed last week's weigh in - had a stomach flu for a few days. Only 5 weeks to go - I know I can do 12 pounds - will surely be a push but I'm ready. Today I am starting a 6 week challenge at my gym and will be bootcamping it every day. Should help fire me up and get me where I want to be by June 1st.

This thread has definitely helped me out in the sense of feeling like I am "answering" to someone. It's so encouraging to hear everyone else's stories and know that others fight the same battles.

So didn't go down very much but at least my scale went in the right direction this week :) with being stuck in this plateau I know I wont hit the 25 lb but I am happy that I have lost 5.5 lbs. I am hoping to see me at least get under the 150 mark. This would mean the world to me!!!! And I would consider my challenge a success even without hitting the 25 mark. I would just be ecstatic that I was able to break this LONG plateau. We will see what happens. I know I have pushed myself a LOT this week so I am hoping by next Thursdays weight in I will see a little more progress!!!

We will all do the best we can. If we make the full 25 then emoticon for us, If we only lose some of the weight we are still closer to our goals. As of last week I was down 15 of my 25, I may not make my goal but I am happy about saying good-bye to those 15 pounds emoticon

Started this with you in January...kept the food in check, kept sweating and NADA! so depressing but then, oh my, my weight dropped!...While I might reach the end of my ticker by June(that would be the full 25 pounds, I might actually be within soitting distance! Good Morning everyone! Today I crossed the threshold to being overweight! WooHoo! I am down to 185 pounds so I have lost 15 of my 25. I am resigned to not reaching 175 by June 1st, but I will get as close as I can! I am stoked about not being obese anymore.

Its ok Mennoly I am just trying to figure it all out.... I hate being stuck cause I feel like I am doing so much good but im not seeing inches or lbs lost. But I am sure at some point I will have to start going down again. I just wish it was sooner then later. I really want to reach my goal. It means a lot to me to be able to do something as great as this... So its just a little frustrating that I have been stuck for so long.

This is why I am so frustrated for 2 months now I have been going back and forth between 153-151. I am trying all that I can. I eat WITHIN my calorie range. I 9 times out of 10 measure my food. I try to do at least 10 min of activity a day most days its 30 or more. Yet I am still stuck. I am hoping with the 2 classes I started at the y this week that i will start seeing results again. SO here is to hoping.

Well, no loss for me this week - I kind of expected it. Had a rough week, but picked myself up and did the Vancouver Sun Run yesterday - 10km. Did it with my daughter and had a great day and feel good about this week! Good luck to you all!

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I am looking to see what classes i am going to take at my Y this session. Cant wait. Thinking about an aquafit class and my free family kettle bell class. SO we will see. They water class is m and w which if I do it ill miss the first day of class because I dont have my suit today so I will have to wait to go wednesday
