It's been about 3 weeks since I started eating healthy on a daily basis. I still take a day off here and there. And my days off isn't what they used to be. Before on prior practice weight loss journeys on my "day off" I splurged all day. Now on my day off I either eat a few favorite things or just go over my calorie count with still healthy foods. I generally only gain one pound from my day off compared to the past times of 3-5.
The last time I hit such a streak, I was very anal about my foods (thats what friends told me) but I liked them all and was doing great. Then we had a WONDERFUL walmart cake (my fave cake) as a thank you at work for a stand in manager. And i felt obligated to share in the celebration with a piece. And I let it sabotage my streak by giving in to further cravings.
But I have lived and learned and do not give in in such ways any more.
