Started Spark People one week ago and have lost 2 lbs - woo hoo! Had surgery on my toe joint in December and went back to the dr today hoping he would tell me that I could throw the walking boot away and get back to my life - Nooooooo, he told me that I could wear either the boot or the surgical shoe but needed to wear it for 2 to 3 more weeks to make sure it has healed. There was good news - I can start putting weight on it! So I am going to the gym tomorrow and see if I can ride a bike with the surgical shoe on. Keep my fingers crossed!
