Cherish and nourish. She is about to go into the teen years and don't be shocked if her admiration doesn't come as often as it does now. But continue to be that roll model and once they make it through the brain dead years, she'll come back and appreciate you even more for helping her through these tough times.

My 12 year old daughter once said to me "mum when we were asked in school to name our role models, i named you". that told me i was doing right. it was a compliment.
