I used to think that once you hit middle age, you were stuck being fat and there was nothing you could do about it. Then, I joined SparkPeople! I've lost 27 pounds just by tracking my calories in the Nutrition Tracker and walking 30 minutes a day. If I can do it, you can do it, too! Just remember that you don't have to cut anything out of your diet - I'm still addicted to chocolate and ice cream, I just eat much less of it. Track your calories, stay active, and hang in there! Hey guys, I have been away for almost a year and instead of losing weight I put on another 15lbs. I thought I could lose the weight by following WW and doing a 3rd degree boot camp but I couldn't because I have no will power and I am addicted to the sugar. I am so disappointed with myself. I have friends that have been doing the same workouts and they have lost 20-30lbs but they are also eating right. I am so jealous and wish I could have some of their will power. I don't know why I keep cheating and destroying my weight loss journey ? I think I am meant to be fat for the rest of my life. Now that I turned 41, I feel like my metabolism shut down and there is no hope for me. Thanks for listening Rachael
