It is a real shame a lot of the SP recipes contain processed pre-packaged stuff like this.

I assume its to "help" people used to eating like this.

However I feel it alienates a lot of people outside the US as we have NO idea what these things are, nor care too most of the time, and really its not helping people who would be better off learning how to make real food.

I love this website, searching for Angel Cake gets loads of hits, perhaps try looking through some of those to find something more suitable.

I eagerly turned to the Angel Cake recipe in my new Spark People Recipe Book - because I used to have a recipe for a fat-free, wonderful chocolate angel cake - and was SO shocked and disappointed to find the recipe used a PACKET of cake mix! I'm on the hunt now for a make-from-scratch recipe - anyone?
