I thought maybe I already answered when I saw the post below: "DH really wanted it (bought new for a big chunk of change). I've used it more than he does. And I still use it some". Anyway, it is a good short workout, I'm just not working out at home that much right now...I'm addicted to Jazzercise now.

My husband loves his. I have used it in the past and it worked well, but I don't like strength training.

we have a Bowflex. You can get a good workout IF you use it. Ours serves mostly as a clothing rack. DH really wanted it (bought new for a big chunk of change). I've used it more than he does. And I still use it some, but my home workouts are usually Pilates or The Firm. Strength training is usually at the gym.

I have two different. Bowflex exercise equipment and love them both. They were a great investment for my health.

We have a bowflex in our basement. I've never been much of a fan, but my husband loves it. He's done more traditional weight lifting in the gym, but got the bowflex because of how many options it offers.

I am looking at purchasing a used bowflex for $100 which seems like an awesome deal! It's the Motivator 2 model so its a little more compact than the original machines. I am looking to add strength training to my routine which right now is just using the treadmill or walking/running outside.

Please give me your experience or feedback with using this type of equipment! Thanks!
