My menu allows 125 - 156 carbohydrates everyday divided by my three meals.
I've had 76 carbs so far today for breakfast and lunch.

Include the following in your diet:
Fruits: 2-4 servings daily
Vegetables: 3-5 servings daily
Whole grain breads, muffins, bagels, rolls, pasta, noodles, crackers, cereal, and brown rice: 6-11 servings daily
Legumes, beans and peas: 1-2 servings daily
Low-fat and non-fat dairy products: 3 servings daily

It seems like if I eat a bunch of simple carbs (it makes me crave more) and I can't get full. It may be just me but it happens every time I indulge.

My weight and appetite is easier to control when I eat complex carbs.
I found this was true as I was pre-diabetic and was using the diabetic diet.
I now control my sugar with diet alone emoticon Yea for complex carbs!!!
