There is a set of rules, laws, taxes for awards and give-aways in the U.S. and they are different than those in Canada and other countries. We don’t have the ability/resources to navigate these regulations between various states, the U.S. and internationally.

I'm not Canadian - but this seems unfair. Maybe a Canadian advertiser would sponsor a contest every once in a while - for Canadian members.

Could you please explain to me what legal work is involve. So I can understand it and maybe i might be able to find a way, or have an idea of how this sight might be able to use the legal system and include the Canadians..;-)

We'd love to include members outside of the United States in the contest, but the legal work that it would entail is extremely complicated and costly, which makes it very difficult for our free site with limited resources. Sorry about that!

I was wondering if you are ever going to allow Canadians to participate in contests and allow us to receive prizes? I know that you are american based web site and associated with Target stores, but Target stores are arriving in Canada in 2013. It would be really nice it there is some way we would be able to participate and win as well...
