I've been using other software to track my calories and nutrition but I've decided to try Sparkpeople again as I now have an iPhone and see I can sync with it. I like my other software but there is no phone app for it. Here's where I am: I'm disgusted with myself. I have been trying to lose the same 30 or so pounds off for about six years now and I just go up and down a few pounds! I know it's because my eating is inconsistent. I do really well for about 4 or 5 days then I start eating too much again. I mostly eat healthy but I eat too much. meal are not my problem...I've pretty well conquered them, it's my snacking esp in the evening. I am also diabetic and really need to get my bs under control...it is not terrible but is going up. I've had to increase my medicine recently and my doctor is starting to talk to me about an injectable type which I really don't want. Today I am over on my calories and normally I just figure too late for today I'll start over tomorrow, but tonight I'm saying no, I'm starting right now ...so no more food tonight and I am going to do some exercise before bed. I am hoping to stick with it this time and I will really need your support. I hope I can get to a point where I can encourage and support others too. Thanks for listening/reading. ;-)
