Checking in for yesterday.

- Standing desk for work, sit back down when tired
Worked at home so no.
- No sugar in work coffee
Check
- Track food and aim to stay within calorie limit
Blew my calories
- 8 cups of water per day
Just shy by 2 cups
- Track steps and aim for 10,000 steps
Definitely got this one
- Take a walk around the office floor once every hour
Wasn't in the office, but did go for a run and did 3 Sparkpeople videos
- Have a yogurt, veggie and fruit smoothie, or a piece of fruit for breakfast
Check
- Do a 10 minute workout at home
Check

Darn it! Dropped the ball for 3 days for the weekend. Will have to pick it up again today.

Whoo hoo! Got this one too!

Yeah baby! This was not a problem!

Got it done! Took a little running in place at home, but done nonetheless

Yep! I am on a roll!

Oy, didn't actually get around to having breakfast yesterday. :-(

Was hard because I was tired, but I made myself do this. Yay!

Unfortunately, this is a no since I was in meetings for a total of 6 hours

No. Only got in about 9 thousand

- Take a walk around the office floor once every hour
No. Due to the all-day meetings

- Have a yogurt, veggie and fruit smoothie, or a piece of fruit for breakfast
No. Ended up with an egg and cheese sandwich

- Do a 10 minute workout at home
Also no. Got home and was totally drained.

Life tends to intervene every few days on my plans so the fact that I didn't get to some of my goals is not news. Will check in again tomorrow!

It took me a few years to get to this size and it is all due to my metabolism slowing down as well as poor diet and lack of exercise. I blame most of it on my lifestyle. Well, now's as good a time to change as any! I want to lose weight, but more importantly, I want to live healthier by making lifestyle changes. This means losing the weight slowly, but steadily. So here's what my plan looks like so far:

- Standing desk for work, sit back down when tired
- No sugar in work coffee
- Track food and aim to stay within calorie limit
- 8 cups of water per day
- Track steps and aim for 10,000 steps
- Take a walk around the office floor once every hour
- Have a yogurt, veggie and fruit smoothie, or a piece of fruit for breakfast
- Do a 10 minute workout at home

Will have to check in tomorrow to see if I reached all my goals for today.
