You don't say what your "routine" breakfast is but a few simple suggestions might be:
a "protein" shake using your fav fruits, plain yogurt, lo-fat milk (or soy/almond) milk, and a vanilla flavored protein powder.
breakfast burrittos using eggs/egg substitute, lo-fat cheese, and maybe some salsa or pico di gallo wrapped in a whole wheat shell. (We sometimes make a few at a time, store them in a container and then just micro and eat them on the go)
Baked oatmeal is also good (my son eats it cold) - this is another item that makes more than one serving so you don't have to do a lot of thinking/preparing in the morning.
