I need some ideas/help on this...What can I fix for meals that will be enjoyable for not only myself, but my husband, and my 2 and 5 year old? Everything else gets paid first, which doesn't leave very much for groceries at the end, so I end up buying the very cheap stuff. Macaroni and cheese, bologna..etc You know, the very unhealthy stuff.
What are some things you have found helps? I went to a diabetic class my doctor put on, and when we were talking about nutritious meals, I asked what could I do when we can't afford some of these foods that they were discussing (They went on and on about salmon, so I went to pick some up and nearly fell over when it was ON SALE for $8.99/lb) Everyone looked at me like I was an outcast.
I am just lost on this whole thing. Please help!
