Whenever I am in a fitness and exercise program, I do a few quick measurements before I get going. Of course I weigh myself and look at my BMI. Then I measure my body: Upper Arms, chest, waist hips, thigh, calf and ankle.
At those times when my weight is not moving or is moving upwards, I look carefully at my body measurements. What I see helps me realize that what I am doing IS making a difference and that I need to continue marching on.
