I have lost 44 pounds and am maintaining - and my average calorie intake is generally about 1000 to 1100 per day. I guess that works for me - I am only 5'1/2" tall with small bones. I rarely reach 1200 per day because I focus on keeping sodium VERY low and eating a lot of protein.

fruits & veggies fill me up, but with fewer calories, so how do I get in enough of the right kind of calories?! emoticon

Maybe cut back on the water!
Spark recommends 8 CUPS of water a day, not GLASSES.
Some glasses can be 24 ounces or more in volume, which is 3 cups in one glass.

I can always add a few with a handful of nuts or 2TBS of peanut butter. You could also do some avocado to add some healthy calories.

No matter how much i try to meet my calorie count for the day i don't have the amount i am suppose to eat because i am always full from the 8 plus glasses of water for the day. Any suggestions
