Mini growl, but I thought i was really doing well on carbs today. I had 4 strawberry's at BK Corn and black beans in my salad for lunch Beans in my 2nd lunch - chili golden potatoes for dinner 1 yummy "so called healthy" cookie and 10 rasperries. and I'm still only at 50 carbs. that's an entire day's worth below the 100g, and 100 grams is "low" for what Sparks wants.
grins - i know, i'll just eat cookies. oh, maybe not. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

One of my favorite things in the world are red potatoes. They're small, they're versatile, and they pack a serious nutritional punch. Baked, they're even low cal! (Seriously, frying ruins potatoes.) I just made some AWESOME baked ribbon fries that were crispy and delicious. You can make all kinds of stuff from them!
If you want to include breads, but don't care much for whole grains, I like the Nature's Own 40 cal wheat bread... very smooth texture.
You can also get some yummy carbs from an apple and other fruits!

Oh, I forgot that. I try to do vegitarian day, two times a weeks.
And you are really looking for a week to week pattern, not necessarily a day to day, right? so a little high on one day, and a little low on another is perfectly fine, as long as it's not a huge swing, right?

Try beans. They are generally higher in carbs, but VERY nutritious (high in fiber), as well as counting as both protein AND vegetable. And you can pick any kind of bean you want to - lots of variety to choose from.
