So this is the third day of getting back on track for the New Year. Going pretty good for now. Been doing good tracking my food and exercising. Unfortunately my thighs are sore from exercising. But I'm resting today and tomorrow so hopefully it will be ok.
I've been wondering how her DVD's are! You know how some celebrities come out with workout DVD's and they aren't really worth it, glad to hear hers gives you a great workout. Might have to pick that up!
Sounds like everyone here is doing fantastic at staying motivated. I did 30 min on the elipitical and 30 on the bike tonight. What a great night! The scales aren't saying I'm losing weight, but I can feel it around my waist. Just need to keep on exercising and stay within my ranges. Good luck everyone. Keep on Sparking!

I used to be dependent on my husband to support me and provide for our family, but now i am getting out there and getting training to become a home health aide. I want to be independent and help support my kids and provide for our household.I used to be dependent on the lab band and now i being motivated and being active daily to work off this weight to be healthy and fit
I will keep working at it! I believe I will feel better when I start see results. I can't wait til my clothes are too big either

The scale is not wrong, you just keep on working hard!! I've been trying to figure out if I'm measuring wrong bc I too, haven't seen a change in inches but my clothes fit a little better. Can't wait until my clothes are too big!!
Wow, it has been a while since I wrote in this journal. I discovered the private journal in the planner.
Well, I'm starting to wonder if the scale can be wrong. Not in the way most people think. My number is down, but I don't see any results anywhere else. My clothes don't seem to feel loose and I don't think I look any different. Maybe if I took my measurements I would see results. Also (no idea if this is a good explanation) because of how much I weigh and my height, maybe I need to lose a certain amount before I see results (???).
I need to do tae-bo as part of my fitness plan. I was thinking I would just walk on the treadmill for an hour three times a week. If I want to burn more calories, I'm going to have to do more. I burned more calories doing tae-bo for 20 minutes than I did walking on the treadmill for an hour!
I bought a slow cooker today! Now I just need to get some recipes. I think I will make something in it this weekend (3 day weekend by the way!).
Ya know, I think I'm going to start eating more jello. It's only 10 calories a serving and if you add whip cream, that's just an extra 15 calories. I usually have weight watchers ice cream for dessert, but that has anywhere from 110 to 180 calories per serving.
So I did Tae Bo Cardio BootCamp today. lol I could only get through like 15 20 minutes of it. It will get better as I do it more often. I'm thinking about getting a treadmill. I can easily walk for an hour and burn a decent amount of calories.

Bruce - Odds are if you take in less you won't lose any weight (you need fuel to burn the calories)and depending on your allotted calories it may in fact not be good for you. I spent 5 weeks counting and logging my own diet trying to stay in the range. While I only lost 3.5 pounds I know I have lost inches so I would recommend that you log your waist, hips etc. measurements. This week I am going to try their suggested menus. Don't rush the process, the weight for me came in decades so I can't expect to lose it all in a month. Stay motivated and use all the resources on this site - it's a great place to be.
