Avoid sugars/starches as they spike INSULIN and then make the stomach pump out the hunger hormone GHERLIN and so we want to eat more sugar/starches.

I have been counting calories, carbs, fats, and proteins very strictly. This weekend I gave up, starting on Friday. It was the weekend birthday party of my eleven year old step-daughter. Cake, spaghetti, cheeseburgers, chips, pizza, etc. I discovered that it is easy to allow old habits to consume your good habits. I felt horrible eating the way I did this weekend. I had to use the restroom 10 times more and I ate until I felt disgustingly sick. Today I have returned to my new healthy routine of how I have been eating. I feel so much better eating healthier. It's amazing how we abuse food at parties and social gatherings. I don't know about you, but it felt like I had no control. I like to be in control, it feels horrible not to be.
