You're inspiring me to start getting more creative with salads; it doesn't sound like a chore at all the way you describe it! emoticon

SHANTI66, you have discovered the secret! The Nutrition Tracker is so incredibly effective! With a click of a mouse we can see food intake in a whole new light. It is the single greatest tool available to help us achieve our goals. Before using the Tracker, I did not realize that I NEVER consumed the correct proportions of carbs, fat, and protein. Since the Nutrition Tracker, I almost ALWAYS consume the right amounts. As a direct result, my cholesterol went from 238 to 162! And I reached goal! And I've remained at goal! All of this has happened through consistent use of my beloved Nutrition Tracker. Viva la NT!

Hi there Sparkers. By tracking my food, I've noticed that I don't get as many fruits and veggies as I thought I did. So, yesterday, when I really wanted to eat something else that only had a half serving of fruit, I consciously decided to have salad (it was already made and everything) and measured out four cups of greens, 3/4 cups of fresh raspberries, 1 oz of mixed nuts and when I was tempted to just pour on "a bit" of my husband's diet dressing, I got out my new measuring spoons, measured a tablespoon of dressing (which wasn't very much) went to have another one, stopped, looked at the calorie count and decided not to. I didn't even miss it. I loved my salad and got in all my fruits and veggies for a change! Spark Cheers! Woo Hoo! :-)
