I adore coffee with a passion, but trying to diet doesn't leave a lot of coffee creamers available. I switched over to So Delicious, Dairy Free French Vanilla made of coconut milk. I can splurge a little bit and not feel bad about it.

I always used powdered creamer in my coffee, since I switched to fat free CAN Milk (pour milk into plastic or glass container after opening-prevent can taste) I enjoy my coffee more plus some calcium and vitamin D in my coffee! For flavor, add a shake or two of cinnamon, a few drops of vanilla, almond, or other flavoring found in the spice/baking aisle to coffee.

I can't handle the creamer well. It turns out to be creamer with a little coffee so I'm having it for the last few days and don't plan on going back to it.

I only drink one cup a day so I allow myself the creamer. I usually use Splenda instead of sugar. If I have a cup in the evening (rarely because it affects my sleep) I try to use less creamer but I figure it is a lot less calories than say, a dessert and it usually satisfies my craving for sweets and I feel like I have had dessert. Try using the reduced fat varieties

You've probably figured out an answer for yourself by now given you posted a while ago, but I thought I'd answer anyway. I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk. It gives a slight flavor and takes a bit of the bitterness of coffee away. At this point, I like it better than regular milk for most coffees.

I can't stand coffee creamer. It tastes greasy. When I ate dairy products, I used fat-free half and half, and liked it quite a bit.

I was not able to cut creamers. I did cut sugar from my coffee though. I found that sugar free is lower in calories than fat free. I also found that powder form is usually lower. I just reduced the amount of cream per cup to 1sp. I generally have one cup in the moring and one around 3pm. So I use about 50 calories worth a day.

I use a light cream that contains 25 calories per 2 tablespoons. I can drink it black, I have one cup per day, so I can afford the calories and (minimal) fat content in my creamer.

plain black coffee is the best. not only are creamers high in calories, but they are packed with trans fat. i used to ALWAYS drink my coffee with loads of cream, then i did a fad diet that said i could have as much coffee as i wanted, but without cream and i just got used to it and actually prefer it black now.

I was able to get rid of creamers when I started buying flavored coffee grounds. They were so good, I didn't miss the creamers at all. And now I drink it black - and just really enjoy the smell. I don't even miss the creamers.

Another way to go is to cut back on the amount of creamer you actually use. Over the course of a month, cut it back by a teaspoon per week, and see how that goes. Don't do it too fast, or you will notice it right away. But little amounts over time will hardly be noticed!

Good luck reaching your goal!

I am trying to find a lowfat-low calorie coffee creamer. What is everyone else using that is good? I wish that I could give up creamer for my coffee or coffee all together but, until then I need to find a better option.

Thanks for your suggestions and input
