I don't know about phentermine or how many calories you should be eating, but since you went to a doctor I'm just going to keep my mouth shut about that :P Can you eat before you go to your niece's party? Have some veggies and lean protein so you're not hungry at the party. And you can always tell a white lie and tell family you already tried their dish if they're pushy about it, or just tell them it looks really good but you're going to have to pass it up today. Hopefully they'll be supportive! Good luck!

Weight Watchers wasn't working. I went to a bariatric doctor and they tested me yesterday. Turns out I only need 1343 calories a day to MAINTAIN my current weight, and would need to eat 800 cals a day to LOSE any. The cheapest program was phentermine on a 800 cal diet, which I started today. NO interest in food until night (as usual), but I had veggies and came in under 700. Tomorrow will be a challenge. A niece's 50th birthday with a huge family of ravenous eaters and great cooks. Let's see phentermine's power...and my own, cuz I know I can choose to eat "past" the help of phentermine. Pressure will be on me from family members to eat their specialties. Tomorrow night I will report.
