Never thought I could enjoy a frozen treat without chocolate. But today's lunch included .5 cup of frozen vanilla yogurt. It was a delicious ending to my lunch of 2 c. fresh spinach, .75 oz. walnuts, 12 lg. fresh strawberries with 1 tbsp. of caesar dressing. It was so satisfying to have that juicy salad mix and then the refreshing yogurt as the end point. Hey...I'm actually doing this healthy food-eating "thing." I can't wait to see the next dessert plans. Also will use some of the plans my fellow "sparkers" have suggested. TY all!

the plain yogurt and cinnamon thing I eat nearly every day for brekkie, plus fruit of course. Some of these ideas sound yummy!

how about a 6" crepe, not hard to make. with a row of whipped cream in the centre, lined with sliced strawberries on top, each side folded over the strawberries and cream and topped with a bit more whipped cream and sliced strawberries. i've never tried dream whip with this so i don't know how that would be.
What about Fruit Salsa? I like the one that you dump a bag of frozen strawberries & a mango in the food processor, pulse it up and then add in 2 kiwi & 2 bananas and pulse it just until everything is cut up and blended together. You can serve it either with cinnamon pita chips or it's fantastic on greek yogurt!

Make a trifle...layers of angel food cake, fresh fruit, creamy custard (substitute no sugar/no fat pudding mix), nonfat dairy creamer, and a sprinkle of fresh cinnamon over top or a few sprigs of mint. You can drizzle with a little fruit syrup (jam boiled with water). Can be made 1-2 days in advance and covered tightly. It looks "red carpet ready". YUM.
Roasted apple crisp is another good alternative - healthy and naturally sweet, with just a hint of crunch in the topping.

A decadent dessert that is really healthy is to take plain greek yogurt (I like Fage brand) and mix a little honey and cinnamon into it. Serve it with fresh fruit like sliced apples or strawberries and watch it disappear!
Alternatively, many Jello salads can be made very healthy.
Angelfood cake is also pretty darn healthy and can be paired with whipped cream/ light cool whip and fruit for another tasty treat.
