I'm going out to dinner tonight for the first time since starting my weight loss/getting healthy journey. Thanks for being an inspiration! Hopefully I also make good choices!

Way to go you!! Eating out is one of the more difficult things to deal with as we have less control over our food. Keep up the great work!

It's not about how fast I get there. It's not about whats waiting on the other side. It's the climb.

Good for you! It's a very freeing feeling to know that food ain't the boss and that you can go out and have something tasty that doesn't break the calorie bank! emoticon

Well done! I'm sure it's great to know that you CAN still eat out and make good food choices. If you can chose to eat healthy with so much temptation around you are well on your way to your weight loss goal. It's tough to pick the healthy option when there are so many delicious and fattening options available. What you did is a big achievement!

It's hard to make the right choices especially when you have so many options right in front of you so GREAT job! Keep up the good work!!

So I am new to this site and chose to go out to dinner with my husband tonight. We went to Ruby Tuesdays. We asked them not to bring the "complimentary" cheddar rolls, we both had the salad bar, we both ordered one of their "fit" menu items (the Chicken Bella was delicious!) and we skipped dessert! I am pretty proud of myself, in the past I would never have made those choices. It is early in my journey, but so far so good, and I'm going to keep making those positive steps to change my life!
