YES! My mom and dad are doing this with me. My husband is one of the lucky ones who can eat all day and never gain a pound so it is hard for him to understand, but he is supporting me the best he can.

No, not at all! That's why I joined SparkPeople. I'm a divorced Mom and the lack of support and struggles were what had led me to a large weight gain. Food was what I came to lead on for my emotional crutch.

Yes! My husband is awesome about supporting our new lifestyle. We recently started eating a plant-based diet together, and we both love it! I don't think I could do it if he were fighting it, but he was so excited (and still is) to make the change and educate our friends and families about our eating habits :)

I have a few very supportive friends and coworkers, but not in my immediate family. My kids and husband don't seem to understand my need to be healthier.

My husband & I are now in this together. Though he was very supportive before he joined me.

I fortunately do, for the most part. My hubby and I are working on encouraging one another on our goals. Although, yesterday he asked if I wanted ice cream. When I said, "no" he asked if it would bother me if he had some. It was thoughtful of him and I said so, but I need him to not even ask me. I also have a friend who is on the same journey as me. I don't think I could do it without a support group.

yes I do. Having recently joined Weight Watchers I get lots of wonderful support and help from them. My Hubby has finally decided HE wants to get healthier and lose a few pounds. So we are there for each other.

It started out just being my spark friends...but my hubby and mother in law have seen that I wont quit or give up and they started supporting me.

I finally have a support system in my journey to becoming healthy! My family and my boyfriend no only support me, but they all keep me accountable and motivate me when I need it!

If you don't have a support system that is really working for you, that is okay! This is the first time in my life I have had one and I love it so much!

If you don't have one though, send me a message! I can support you and keep you accountable. After all, isn't this what Sparkpeople is here for?!

If you do have one-who is it? What do they do for you?!
