I definetly think so. My short term goal is to start a blog myself. Just need to figure out how to start.

For sure! I got encouragement to try Zumba, which I just love, but would have been a bit too shy to go to. Plus I find it helps me to look back and see where I might be going wrong, eg, feeling grumpy and out of sorts, means I might be coming down with a virus, so instead of eating junk in a funk, I might try more citrus fruit and try to get more sleep... plus, it's the community that I find so supportive on SP, and blogging is how you be part of that. Give it a go!

I never have but would like to start. My personal problem is that I live in the area of politics and that is probably not a suitable venue for SP. Your thoughts???

Yes, it keeps me accountable, and the support and encouragement really help. Not just for the diet and exercise, but with what I go through living with cancer and going through chemotherapy.

I've only recently taken up daily blogging, as I normally like to keep my thoughts private and don't really talk about myself a lot. I have to say though that doing a daily blog post, even a short one, has really amped up my motivation and helped me keep my goals in sight.
I have felt so on-track lately, and I think a lot of that has to do with sharing my experiences through blogging. Blogging on SP is also great because there are always at least a couple of people who stumble upon my blog and leave encouraging comments, which makes me feel even better about sharing my thoughts!
