Welcome to Sparkpeople.com, You will find this will be way more than a weight loss journey. This will be your path to a healthier and happier you! Here are My tips to YOU: I suggest you log in everyday. Acquaint yourself with the tools because they are key in helping you form healthy eating and activity habits. I love the articles and they have helped me more than I could ever say.
Have a blast making your page as it is your fingerprint. Change it up & make it your own. Most of us use it as a form of expression and a major source of motivation for ourselves and others.
Definitely use the Nutrition tracker because it is demonstrative in forming healthy eating habits. Be sure to run a report it will give you valuable information to make choices in the future. Don't cheat yourself out of this vital information and the behavior modifying effect it will have on your eating. THE NUTRITION TRACKER REPORT IS VERY POWERFUL STUFF DON'T UNDERESTIMATE IT! Should you ever need support or have any questions, speak up we have more than our share of people who can help you.

I think that this is a wonderful place and the only place that has really helped me. Look around. You might be interested in joining some "Challenge" teams so that you will get extra encouragement and motivation on your weight-loss path. There might be a team for sciatica or for back injuries.
I see you are getting your Spark Points already so you are off to a good start.

Hi my name Diana...I am proud to say I have lots a total of 17 pounds ....yes..it took me awhile to get there...but I did it..I took advice....changed my life style of eating..lots of fruits and veggies..and yes .lots and lots of water....This has been a slow ride since I have lots the weight...I can not understand why...If any one can give me advise or motivation it will be well accepted....I do have a condition called Sciatica.....its pretty much a disk swollen in the spine..and pinching your Sciatic nerve that goes from your thighs do your legs...so as you can see...I have great days...where i feel nothing at all...and then those hurting days...where I have minimal movement on my leg...:(.....however....once I feel better ...I am up and add it again...I still need to lose ohh...a good...75 pounds...I pray and ask God to keep me strong ...so i can move on to my next new size...
