I'm very sad that you changed it because I really liked being able to choose what days I did what. Currently Fridays are my rest day and having the "you must burn 360 more calories today to reach your goal" message staring me in the face when I open the app is really bringing me down.
But it doesn't make sense. If 3 days of 30 minutes of cardio was 217 calories *per day*, shouldn't 5 days of cardio be the same, per day? Weekly, yes, that number will increase... but if 30 minutes of cardio burns 217 calories *per day* when I do it three days a week, why would it be 360 calories *per day* when I do it 5 days a week?
I'm trying to set up my goals, and I'm running into serious issues.
I want to run or walk 5 days a week. I know for certain those days will be Tues/Thurs/Sat... which days the other two happen are flexible.
When I changed the cardio options to 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week (instead of 30 minutes 3 days a week), suddenly my daily goal went from 217 calories to 360 calories burned. I'm confused. I didn't change the duration, just the number of days. And Fridays will pretty much always be my day off so I don't want any goal for Fridays.
When I first joined, I was able to set goals for specific days of the week. I could say "strength training on x days, cardio on y", but after nearly an hour of searching I can't find any option to choose what days I plan to exercise.
Nor can I find any way to contact SparkPeople to ask them directly.
