If you dont mind SOME wheat Joseph's whole wheat, oat and flax pita's are very good. They only have 60 calories each and are a much better alternative to highly processed white flour breads. I get them at Wal Mart and they are reasonably priced.

Sorry all my flax seed. oat bran etc recipes also call for some wheat flour,...but...a friend has Celiac Disease and eats her sandwiches on Rice Cakes , Corn Tortillas, or Nut Crackers . She even uses corn tortillas as hamburger buns!

I am currently reading the book Wheat Belly By Dr. Davis and am making a honest effort to cut wheat from my diet, but I miss sandwiches! Does anyone have any flax bread recipes or different bread alternatives? Thanks in advance!
