Why can't you buy fresh fruits? You don't have to get anything fancy, apples and bananas are always cheap.

For some reason just having a tablespoon of peanut butter on a mini sandwich thin takes care of a sweet attack for me. It's also in the calorie range considered for a snack.

Do they run out of fresh fruit? I get it year round, even in winter.

I had no idea you could buy frozen fruit. Interesting.

I also like the Dole fruit cups. I usually mix them with cottage cheese and often buy them on sale.

Blueberries are my favorite frozen food. Super yummy!

Frozen definitely works well. I usually avoid the more "delicate" fruits, like raspberries, because they don't thaw out very well. You could also try dried fruit, just make sure you read the labels to check for added sugars and preservatives. I recently got hooked on d'noir prunes, they are sweet without anything added and are big enough that I can feel like I am actually eating something with some substance (and the fiber content doesn't hurt either)

Thanks for the quick reply. I will definitely add frozen fruit to my grocery list. A fruit smoothie with whey protein added to my breakfast will be a great boost. And yes, it would make a great snack too. emoticon

I will because I can and if you think I can't then you are WRONG!!!!

I also think frozen fruit is a good option. You can make some amazing smoothies with frozen fruit that will definitely take care of a sweet tooth.

Frozen fruit is good too, better than canned as it has to be frozen immediately after it's packaged.
