If you can, find a way to let some stress go. Stress is bad for us and only makes it harder to lose weight.
Stress makes our bodies release cortisol. Cortisol helps us to store fat. So de-stress as much as you can!

Hang in there! As Archimedes mentioned, it can take as long as 8 weeks for the results to show up on the scale, but that does not mean you are not getting the benefits of the healthy choices you are making.

Take a deep breathe ! Everything is going to be fine. Don't assume something must be wrong because you haven't lost a pound. While a safe weekly weight loss would be 1-2 pounds per week, there may be weeks you don't lose. There may even be weeks you gain ! And that doesn't mean something is wrong.
To be very honest, it could take 6-8 WEEKS of healthy eating and regular exercise before a person sees a change in the scale. And that too is perfectly normal. This isn't the Biggest Loser. Those types of dramatic losses are just not typical.
Don't worry ! I can assure you that IF you continue to eat right, watch your portions and get some regular exercise that includes some strength training, you WILL see change with time. Remember, you didn't gain the weight overnight, it's not coming off overnight.
Be patient with yourself and your body.

So I am on an emotional roller coaster right now. My mind and body are playing nasty little tricks on me. I think I just need to express what is going on in my head but I don't share well. I think that is what is hindering my progress. I haven't dropped a pound in over a month of exercise and diet. This is killing me. I see myself going nowhere and I panic. I need help. I need a friend. I need this. If anyone else feels this way or has felt this way please just let me know I'm not alone. Thanks.
