I totally get that euphoria the day I come home from the grocery store with lots of fresh fruit and veg and a week's worth of dinner ideas. I'm so excited about each thing, I can't decide what to eat first! I try to wash & prep the fruits and veg that are ripe so that they're easy to snack on throughout the day, and I always steal a couple bites of each to get my fix. This week it was canteloupe, watermelon, strawberries, mangos and cherries. I made a stirfry with the veggies too, so I didn't have to choose just one!

Dear Sparkers,

I can't believe the excitement and liberation that I am finding as I consider meal planning and recipe ideas! I joined Spark People 4 weeks ago and am finding my food interest moving toward grains and other different food ideas than ever before, such as meatless burgers! This feeling is sort of euphoric and motivational! I found some very interesting seafood burger recipes today. Here is the URL for one of the recipes that I plan to try ~

I will make substitutions to reduce the calories, carbs, and fat, such as using low fat mayonnaise and skipping the bun.
