Seriously - you are not eating enough calories. Your body requires 1,200 just for normal daily living activities and more if you workout. It's like trying to drive your car when there are just fumes in the gas tank. You won't get very far and then you'll just be stuck unable to go anywhere.
Do you log your workouts here in SP? If so, then look on your fitness tracker. You should see an estimated total calories burned for the week. Take that number (keep in mind it's only estimating your calories burned for cardio) and go to your start page. On the left in the My Goals & Progress click on the red word change under calories burned and put your total in there. They system will recalculate and tell you what your caloric NEEDS are and what range you should be in.
You NEED to eat more and that may be hard coming from an eating disordered background. I would recommend that you ask your doctor to refer you to a Registered Dietician for a program specific to your needs. The other thing I would recommend is that you stop basing your wants around a number on the scale. It won't tell you how you are doing on the inside. Focus on clean eating, drinking water, a healthy workout program and do your best. If you keep that going the numbers will take care of themselves.
Also keep in mind that if you're going to work out beyond 90 minutes at any time you should be having a snack in there that is fast acting carbs to help refuel your muscles.

When is the last time you had a physical ? If you find that your body "gains" weight on 1400-1600 calories a day along with the vigorous exercise you do, then yes your metabolism may be messed up. If so, that's the reason you should go to the doctor to have your thyroid checked. Having a wonky thyroid will make it much more difficult to lose any weight.
If you are exercising so hard that you can't talk and you combine that with a 1200 calorie intake per day, you're starving your body of the calories it needs to be healthy. In short, you're going to have to eat more. But, if you're worried that you'll gain weight, that's why you need to talk to your doctor.
Have your thyroid checked. Get all the blood work done and you might even ask to have a BMR test done. that test will determine how many calories your body needs just to be able to lie in bed thinking. Because at your current weight, as an estimate, your body needs at least 1700 calories just to be able to lie in bed thinking. Now, you add your day's activities along with any exercise you do and your body could easily need upwards of 2200 calories just to be able to function properly. Sound like a lot ? It's not for a very active woman.
At this point, you really do need a professional opinion. Don't be afraid to talk to your doctor. they are there to help you.
I agree with everyone else. I don't think that you are eating enough. Also, do you eat a morning snack and an afternoon snack. I know that this doesn't seem to sound right, but when I started eating more and not leaving more than 3 hours between eating, I loss weight. If you don't eat enough, your metabolism will slow down and you could go into starvation mode. Once your body is in starvation mode, it grabs onto the food that you do eat and stores it as fat.
You're probably not eating enough. The days you work out, you're probably burning at least 600 calories, which only leaves you 600 calories to operate on the rest of the day. Your body thinks you're starving, and is lowering your metabolism to conserve the few calories it gets.
The last sentence of your post suggests that you are still struggling with anorexia and trying not to restrict your food intake. I've never had that problem, and have no advice to offer. You know best what helps you eat a healthy amount. Please do what you need to do, and at least on your workout days, eat more calories.
Thanks for the response. I do my cardio at a brisk pace, I couldn't chat with you while on the elliptical! As for food, I don't eat red meat and very rarely chicken, I usually eat fish 2-3 times a week, mainly salmon and tilapia. I mainly eat veggies, some fruit and stuff like quinoa. I've been trying to lose weight the last three yrs since I had my daughter. A couple months ago I tried increasing my Val's to the 14-1600 range and I gained several lbs quite quickly, needless to say I figured it was too much and dropped back down. I'm afraid I've screwed up my metabolism permanently.

You may not be eating enough. Eating too little and exercising too much can hinder a person's weight loss, not help it. If you're eating 1200 calories on days you workout for two hours, you may well be netting less than 1,000 calories for the day. If so, that would be one reason you're not losing.
How long have you been trying to lose ? In general, while a safe weekly weight loss is roughly 1-2 pounds per week, it could take 6-8 weeks of healthy eating and regular exercise before a person sees a change in the scale. And that's perfectly normal. This is not the Biggest Loser. Those types of dramatic weight losses are just not typical. So, don't assume something must be wrong because the scale hasn't moved.
Have you noticed other changes ? Are your clothes fitting better ? Are you sleeping better ? Do you have a bit more energy ? Can you do more push ups today than you could a month ago ? Can you run or walk a mile faster today ? If so, those are all positive changes indicating a success.
When will you start losing weight ? Hard to say because we don't know anything about you. We don't know what types of food you've been eating. We don't know how intense your workouts are. There are too many unknowns. We're just taking educated guesses. The more you tell us about yourself, the better we can answer your questions.
I need help! I'm a busy mom of two kids, I'm 5'7 and currently about 178lbs and I can't seem to get at and stay below 170. I've struggled with anorexia in the past and am trying to do this the"healthy" way but having a hard time!! I work out 3-5 days a week for about 2hrs, usually doing 1hr each cardio and wt training. I'm trying to keep my calories at about 1200. What am I doing wrong? I'm really struggling with not restricting
