I love gardening. Already started my garden. It's such a good way to ensure fresh veggies and a chance to get outside in the sun and fresh air.

The kids' garden produced veggies for our supper last night. Spinach, lettuce and radish salad. So yummy. Even my 8 yr old said, "it just tastes so much better than store bought." And was she ever right! I love, love, love garden season!!!

Wow! Great. So many gardeners with so many great sounding veggies and flowers. I live in the Bay Area in California. Last weekend was hot (80's) this week has been overcast (60's & low 70's). The weekend is supposed to be nice again. I started my tomatoes (1 regular "celebrity" and one heirloom, "purple Cherokee") "burpless" cucumber (thin skin) and Blue Lake Green Beans. emoticon

Have 2 garden patches and s-l-o-w-l-y adding a third. One of these days I think I will take out the darn front lawn and just turn it into a HUGE garden.... ah dreams. Anyway the 2 little patches are planted so that is progress!

We are already eating cherry tomatoes and yellow banana peppers (plus various herbs) from our garden.

Tomotoes (4 kinds, 6 plants), jalepenos, habeneros, rosemary, basil and cilantro have all been planted. I am going to get some serrano peppers too.

Garden all set up and ready for planting this weekend. Heading to the farmers market to get some fresh plants and planting tons seeds! Our strawberries are already starting to come in and we have a few that are turning red! Plus our grape vines, blueberries and raspberries are looking really healthy after the winter :)
