Hi ZOE_123, It is good to have you here! If fact you came to the right place for support...be real active on your teams. Do what SP says with your food and move do some form of exercise 5 days a week and you'll lose inches. I say inches not weight cause weight can vary so much from one person to another. Also check out the success stories here on Sparks...those members did not get to where they are now by not setting goals and setting around & eating wrong.
I have a saying in my home & it's this....."You walk talks more then your talk talks, so get to walking." Meaning our actions speak louder then our words:)

Thanks for introducing yourself!! We are happy to have you!
When I first started using SP, I tried to get as many Spark Points a day. This helped me really get to know the program and I learned a lot from reading the articles and taking the quizzes. This is one of my favorite quizzes on the myths of weight loss: www.sparkpeople.com/resource/quizzes_start .asp?quizid=34 Be sure to read all the explanation and visit the links to other articles and resources within them when you have the time.
I also had to start being nicer to myself - a lot of the articles in the motivational and wellness sections helped me start being kinder and gentler to myself. It has been helpful!
Good luck and happy Sparking!!

Heard it all before right? How many times for how many years have I said this to myself, my friends and my family.....And the result,,,,nothing!!.....
Today is going to be the start of a change in lifestyle....something needs to change, time to stop blaming everything else and start looking at the person that puts the food in my mouth..
I'm not one to ask for help (I can do it on my own) evidently I can not. So i am here for as much support as a possibly can get. I'm good at supporting others too,,,,just negative towards myself but this needs to stop right. I know everything to do what is right and what is wrong and I'm great at giving the advice, but its time for to start taking it.
