stick with the perimeter of the store...its less processed. also somewhere...i think under nutrition there is a shopping list of sorts. look for it. also invest in measuring cups of 1,1/2 1/3 etc to measure like mashed potatoes or whatever. you'd be surprised how much you are cheating yourself. a 1/2 cup is bigger than you think. good luck

How did your first visit to the grocery store go after you started this program? Mine went excellent today, for the most part. I looked at the nutrition facts and I passed on junk food. I did by myself a package of twizzlers, but they are gross because they are mixed fruit flavor... So I don't think I will be eating them anyways. Instead of buying regular yogurt I bought lowfat. But I think my first trip to the store went good. Please feel free to discuss your first trip to the grocery store :]
