I am always amazed how many lives have been changed for the better through the use of SparkPeople.

That should point you in the right direction. I find that if you just start looking around Spark, you will quickly learn about the wonderful tools available for your use. After being a Sparker since 2007, I still find something new and very useful.

Welcome to SP! You can do this. Swimming is one of the best exercises. I hated running when I started now I've grown to enjoy it. You may just surprise yourself. You are soooo worth it!!

Hello and emoticon !! My name is Ang (ANGRITTER) and I have been on this site since June. Congratulations on taking your first steps to a brand new you and a new weight loss experience where you are supported by en entire community of like-minded people. This website is dedicated to helping people who want a healthier lifestyle including issues with eating healthy and exercising, as well as support forums where we talk about specific issues.

There are even videos for people who can only work out while sitting in a chair. I broke my back when I was 19, so I understand the sciatica. But believe me, there is always something you can do. You just have to start 10 minutes at a time.

HE I MAY HAVE DONE THIS BUT I FOUND OUT IN SEPT IM PREDIABETIC AND I HAVE A DAMAGED SCIATIC. VERY DISCOURAGED BECAUSE OF SCIATIC BECAUSE MY LEG HURTING BAD DR SAID I COULD SWIM AND THATS IT. I DONT EVEN LIKE TO SWIM AND I HAVE TRIED THE WATER AEROBICS. IM LIKE NOW WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO BECAUSE PUT ME ON DIET AND WANTS ME TO EXERCISE. HE DIDNT TEST ME BUT HE IS GOOD DR AND HE JUST GAVE ME PAIN PILL AND SAID YOU PROBABLY WONT BE BETTER UNTIL AFTER THE HOLIDAY. ISNT THAT SPECIAL. SO CALL ME FRUMPY.
