June said I believe I am beganing to look my age! I have in deed done that the last few years. I don't age with grace, I am fighting. By drinking my water, eating healthy, starting to get a bit more exercise that before.

Plan to start doing facial exercises again. And drink my water, use moistures creams everyday.
I use to be devoted to doing that, but stoped carring. Maybe that is why the age is catching up with me.ha

Hi OKANOG

There is another thing we have in common, besides rebels from the 60s era. I too was thin until age 30 when I quit smoking. You have done well to go three years. It has been 25 for me. I hope to stick around and see my beautiful grandchildren grow up.

HI! GRANDMAX2101849

Me too I was rebel rouser myself and never had a weight problem till my late 40's. Evenutally the age thing sneaks up and hits you like a mac truck!
Oh, well it could be alot worse, like 6 feet under.
I know I'll be there one day but working hard at improving my health hopefully it will ward off, that time a little longer! emoticon

I loved my age between 50 and 60!!! One of the most enjoyable times of my life. I still love being 60.....I'm not sure, but I believe I am beginning to look my age......or what I am saying is that my grandkids are beginning to say things that indicate I look "OLD"!!! Haha....they are so funny! When they do, their parents try to shut them up fast, but the comments do not bother me one bit.

Guess this is all a part of life. I am glad to be among the living today and I plan on enjoying life.

A L O H A June

I can hardly believe I am 55. It really does seem like I was just 27,or 17!!!! I was a bit of a rebel in my younger days. I am drawing on that now to fight this weight problem. So far so good. This SP is helping me more than anything else has in the past.

MOTHERHEN1945

Is there a Birthday board in here?
One will have to remind us when your date comes around!.......I'll be 58 in August.

I borrowed your line me, myself and I as that is just how I feel. Comes a time in life to do things for oneself, just wish I hadn't waited sooo long to discover this! emoticon

Just stopping in to join your great group.
It's Great to be 50 +
It's wonderful, we have a forum for us Babyboomers!

Several years back, I turned 50 and for the first time I really was depressed about the number... that age thing.

All I could think in my depressed pea brain, was....oh, my gawd I am a half a century old.

Then one day I had a good talking to me, myself and I and said " You old fool, you are not a half century old. Oh no.....me, myself and I are Half a Century Young!

Age is just numbers, thank goodness!
