realistically where are you going to be using this? because if your laptop has an inch of dust on it because you use your phone for nearly everything, you have your answer, you need to go with the one that syncs with your phone.
also, how much do you lose things? if being easily misplaced is an issue for the fitbit and you are someone that leaves your keys/sunglasses/anything not tied to you everywhere you go, having something a little bigger and bulkier would be a more noticeable thing to be missing and therefore a little better for you.

i think you can streamline your list a little.
FITBIT

PROS:
* Integrates with more food trackers (SparkPeople, Lose It!, MFP)
* Nicer online interface and app
* Can get readings on the unit instantly
* No subscription required
* Motivating badges and e-mails
* Premium account $49 w/FitBit trainer option
* Silent alarm feature - good to wake me, maybe if i can figure how to utilize it more, I can be reminded to get up and walk a little.

CONS:
* Syncs to computer not my Android phone (at this time)
* Does not auto sync (I have to click on the icon on the bottom of my screen of my computer
and it will ask me to sync)

BODYMEDIA ARMBAND:

PROS:
* Endorsed by Biggest Loser
* Syncs with my phone
* Gives personal best (but not on app)

CONS:
* Little tight on my fat arm
* Nutritional interface not very user friendly
* $149 and subscription is not a option

which to me breaks down as if you live on and use your phone all the time, but not your computer, you need the bodymedia. in all other scenarios you have a lot more to say about the fitbit [ie 1/3 of why you like it isn't because you saw it advertised on tv] and the majority of that is positive.

All the great answers come from within.

Stupid me bought both. I do like the Fitbit which is the less expensive one. And yes, I can log my activity (which is very low right know.

I'm still healing from double kneecap re-alignment surgery (arthritis and slow degeneration caused this), right one was 3 months ago, left one was almost 6 weeks ago and still in PT. I do get a bit of a workout now that they are being more aggressive. I'm glad.

I wanna run, jump and play already!

I myself would not get one.I think the exercise you do can be logged but all the other stuff that burns off calories is just a given.

I would go with the cheapest first one

I haven't really watched biggest loser, and yes, it is scary and unrealistic. I do have Jillian MIchael's new book "Slim for Life" and good advise in it. She does mention about getting a BodyMedia armband. Good marketing.

Still not sure about it.

I haven't got either - I don't know whether bodymedia is available in UK yet. I'm not sure I'd worry too much about which one The Biggest Loser sponsors - it's such a scary programme!! Well, it is in UK anyway - so extreme, I'm amazed none of them have heart attacks or do themselves some serious damage with such an extreme exercise regime. Looking at your pros and cons I think you've already decided on the fitbit - and it's surely not that big a problem to click on an icon in order to sync it with your computer! But in the end it's your choice and you'll probably do well with either.

FITBIT OR BODYMEDIA

Ok, yes, I can drive myself crazy. Please help me make a decision, I'd love your feedback.

I have both and can't decide which to return:

This is based on my experience.

FITBIT

PROS:
* Discreet
* Integrates with more food trackers (SparkPeople, Lose It!, MFP)
* Nicer online interface and app
* Can get readings on the unit instantly
* No subscription required
* Motivating badges and e-mails
* Good battery
* Premium account $49 w/FitBit trainer option
* Silent alarm feature - good to wake me, maybe if i can figure how to utilize it more, I can be reminded to get up and walk a little.

CONS:
* Syncs to computer not my Android phone (at this time)
* Can get lost
* Does not auto sync (I have to click on the icon on the bottom of my screen of my computer
and it will ask me to sync)

BODYMEDIA ARMBAND:

PROS:
* Endorsed by Biggest Loser
* Syncs with my phone
* Gives personal best (but not on app)
* Good battery

CONS:
* Little tight on my fat arm
* Nutritional interface not very user friendly
* $149 and subscription is not a option

I've found some number differences for example steps - sometimes Fitbit shows more than BodyMedia but not a huge difference in numbers. Sleep is a little off, but I'm amazed how both of these units know how long it takes me to fall asleep and when I'm really asleep! That's really cool.

Still in physical therapy due to double knee surgery so not yet as active as I'd like to be.

Both units work well. And the BodyMedia is the most accurate and endorsed one.

But which one is right for me? I'd value your opinion this week, before my 30 days are up.
