I've seen this mentioned here before, and one of the food blogs I read posted a recipe for making your own cream of chicken soup (to use in casseroles, crockpot stuff, etc). No weird chemically crap and probably way lower in sodium. Anyway, here's the recipe, I hope someone finds it useful:
