I don't. I just treat it as a cheat day, but don't go way overboard. I have a 5-game package for the Washington Nationals for my son and I, and he looks forward to eating the hot dog, or whatever. That's part of the fun of being there. Our next game is on the 31st when the Nats play the Cardinals.
Since it is not part of your regular routine, don't worry about a little indulgence (assuming you aren't preparing for a competition in the short term, of course). Having said that, I will usually eat before and take along a protein bar to temper my appetite. But I know I'm going to be eating some crap, and to me it is part of the whole experience. I just make up for it the next day.

I don't eat at all at the ball game. The exorbitant prices turn my stomach. lol.
After the ball game, we stop at Flipburger for hamburgers and milkshakes. A planned indulgence.
