I have found that true bliss is found when I am 100% in the present moment. Harder than it sounds as those moments of true bliss can be counted on my fingers alone. We can however work on savoring every moment for just what it is the present.
When you do your best, it brings a reward of self-mastery with every choice.
When I have had anxiety the best way to sooth and center myself is to consciously pay attention to my breath. Taking in soothing happy thoughts, gratitudes and appreciations and exhaling anxiety and worry etc. I like to think of the inhale as white light and visualize the exhale as blue smoke. Be here now and enjoy every moment of your journey to the healthiest most fit you possible. Hope this helps.

How do you see the end from the start?

The idea is NOT to look at the bigger picture. That's why so many people get discouraged so quickly. They think, "Ugh I only lost 2 lbs??? I have 87 more to go!" And they get so down on themselves. The trick is to only focus on 10 lbs at a time. Make you next goal weight 200, 190, 180, etc. And reward yourself as you get to each benchmark!
When I first started, I had like 100+ lbs to lose, but I just focused on 10 lbs at a time, and slipping into that next number group. The "250's" and the "240's" and so on. Then when you lose 2 or 3 lbs, you'll be able to think "Yes! Only 7 more until my next goal weight!" :)

Try not to look ahead - instead, try to just live in the present. Do the right things on a daily basis and you will amaze yourself with your success. Good Luck!!

I'm having a hard time with some serious feelings of anxiety today ...
How do you see the end from the beginning and stay motivated all the way through, I have never seriously undertaken what I am about to in this year to come. I'm just 7 lbs into a 51 lb goal. I know it's going to take me a year of focused intensity to get there. I'm afraid to not have consistent progress, I'm afraid to unknowingly make mistakes or errors that will sabotage me...I'm scared to not make it to goal.
How do you stay motivated when the road looks so long?
