I'm retired, but belong to many organizations which have a potluck meal before the meeting. I have made it a *rule* for myself to only bring foods that are healthy,low calorie & nutritious. That way, if there are any leftovers to bring home,it won't wreck my diet plan. I also tell myself that I am setting a good example,which helps me feel better & stick to my plan.
BTW, there usually isn't anything to bring home & I've been asked for the recipes numerous times...which lets me give Spark People & the recipes credit for my 30 lbs weight loss since May.
