I do love water though sometimes I need the flavor kick as well. Crystal Light (the cheaper version) 1 serving packets. I usually pour a bit of it into a tall glass - so I get like 8 - 10 glasses of somewhat flavored water with that one packet. Also sometimes I water down powerade (I do love the fruit punch flavor) but only for the taste - not for it's "replenishing" properties. I just plan the calories accordingly.

Unless you're an athlete, working out intensely for more than a couple of hours... you probably don't need to rebalance your electrolytes. Water's plenty for the vast majority of us. :)

i really like the truvia. But, again, i will say that i think the best thing to use as water IS water. I am lucky to have a clean, cold, fresh, sweet well. if i run the water for a minute it gets ice cold, and i put ice in my beverage container, and i can think of NOTHING that tastes as good!!

I have a mug of tea most mornings, i love it..but i do NOT count it towards my water, per my doctor. Tea is a natural diuretic. Water is just..well..water!!

As with any vitamin, please be careful not to have too much. from the emergen-C site it says that i " It contains more than 1600% of the USDA recommended daily allowance of vitamin C, " Thats alot if you are using it every day!!
As with any megadose of vitamins please check with your doc as some other meds and conditions can be effected by using high doses of vitamin C.
that said..glad you have found something that works for you!

I've started drinking Emergen-C to replenish my electrolytes and give me the fluids I need after a tough workout and am hooked. It's been a nice change from just water and for only 25 calories, it's worth it.
