yes, thank you. I try to get .25 cup of walnuts, sunflower seeds, cashews, pecans, or raisins in each day. would you recommend I eat more than one serving a day? I'm pretty "dumb" when it comes to knowing what I should or should not eat!!

I'm 52 and decided to treat myself good for once. I live alone, unless you count my two little girls (my cats). I'm eating vegan now, but am having trouble getting enuf calories, carbs, and protein each day. I get enuf good fats, but don't overdo it. I really like being able to keep track of all the foods I put in my mouth! I drink one cup of coffee in the AM, one glass of soy milk or juice AM, and water the rest of the day. Now I have water with apple cider vinegar in the AM before breakfast and one cup of oolong tea 15 minutes before my evening meal. I've heard those are good for weight loss. I'm not that overweight, but I have been feeling icky all of my life, until now that I'm eating good! My Mom and Dad never really did help me know what to eat, so I'm very glad I found this wonderful site!! And its FREE! Am I restricting what I can eat? Yes, but sugar is EVIL!! I'm reading the book called "Skinny Bitch", and what they say about meat, dairy, and sugar makes me definitely want to keep clear!! Okay, I'm not really exercising either. I need some motivation! I feel so much better now, in 4 weeks of eating good, but I'm not getting enuf nutrients or exercising! HELP?!
