My brother died last week and I have not tracked my food for the first time since joining Sparkpeople. Today, I woke up, ate a healthy breakfast and am going to the gym. I am not beating myself up. I am not apologizing for "being bad". I am just eating well, tracking my food and exercising. Today is a new day.

Ok, I've had some good days in regards to motivating more, eating better, and generally staying motivated and positive. Work has been very stressful, but I am trying to learn to ratchet back on my "must get everything done" mentality to just doing one thing at a time and not stressing about all there is to do. It seems to really help. Now if I can just find a way not to get mad at my fellow co-workers?

Went on vacation and gained 3 lbs. came back and within a week lost them again by doing a lot of cardio and getting back on track! I realized that I can do this! emoticon

I have finally started doing it right. I am exercising daily. Eating healthy. Journaling! I am having small successes which seem huge to me! Thank you, Sparks!
