I found it helpful to read Gary Taubes' "WHY WE GET FAT AND WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT". I got it at the library. He found Dr. Atkins knew what he was talking about. Sugar/starches spike our insulin level which then stores fat. Very interesting to read as he did research for the book for five years on studies going back 80 years.
Maybe you need to add more protein and increase your calories into your range in order to get off this plateau. Taking too few calories makes your body hold on to every calorie it gets instead of being willing to lose weight. Fuel your body well, do strength training, and the weight will come off in time. Hang in there! Some lean turkey rolled around a piece of cheese wrapped up in a nice fresh lettuce leaf is a tasty way to get a little more healthy calories in to your day.

I lost 5 after being sick. I gained .2 and now the scale reads +2. I just want to get to my first 5% and I am 3lbs from it. But I don't go no where. I need help from above. I am trailing off the road and its hard to get back between the lines. I eat around 1500 calories a day. It says I am suppose to eat 19 to 2200 each day. I cannot get that high unless I fall back to eating goodies that I am not suppose to have because I don't know how to quit. Well I just had to get that off my chest.
